Save me a space

    Save me a space

    As you walk through the avenues,
    of your memories and dreams;
    Could you leave me a space somewhere in your past?

    When you find that same full moon,
    That once we shared together;
    Could you stare at it a little longer so it wont fade so fast?

    —-

    As the last drop of autumn rain,
    slides thought the droopy leaf;
    Could you let it land on your palm and tell it that you cared?

    When the sun paints a rainbow,
    Over the cotton clouds of sky;
    Would you mind remember our first kiss that we shared?

    —-

    As the path leads you further,
    further from me on every step you take;
    Would you look back at least once, and wave me a smile?

    When you are tired of the waves,
    that make us all swim away to distance;
    Could you please stand still for me, just for a little while?

    —-

    As you hear the voices of the stars
    Under the beach we lied together
    Would it be too much trouble to write my name on the sands?

    As the eastern breeze hits your face,
    And you tilt your neck to move your hair;
    Would you let me live in your thoughts and hold your hands?

    —-

    I wish I could walk through the avenues,
    of your memories and dreams;
    And hold you one more time till the reality starts to hurt.

    The sun will born tomorrow,
    and soon the new day will surrounds me;
    But I know I will always save you a space in my heart

    Always.
