Few Hundred Years

A few hundred years ago,
you wore a smile when I met your eyes.
It feels like yesterday,
yet we passed through so many lives.

It seems unreal but it's true.
You say you're you and I didn't know you.
Though you may not remember.
I was the desert and you’re my blue.

When everything hurts;
While everything starts;
I beg everything for a glance of you.

If this rainbow-arch dies;
While each butterfly cries;
Don’t you blame them for wanting you.

A few hundred years ago,
I made a deal with the God for this.
One day you’ll stand here,
and I’ll taste your lips with a kiss.

It sounds crazy but it's true.
You’re just you and I always felt you.
I hope you'll remember,
I was that sky you flew through.

When everything breaks;
While everything shakes;
I stop everything for a smile of you.

If this rainy night dies;
While each daffodil cries;
Don’t you blame them for missing you.

A few hundred years from now,
I'll wear a smile when I'll see you again.
That day we’ll lean over,
and we’ll whisper sun over the rain.

It feels impossible to you.
You’re just you and I'll never have you.
Maybe we won't remember,
there were moments, only we knew.

When everything glows;
While waterfall flows;
I'll stop everything and think of you.

As the ink finally dries;
While each word flies;
Don’t you blame them for loving you.
